Bajki od rzeczy
A collection of stories for young readers (aged 6-10), with every day objects as protagonists. A needle needles, a washing machine has foam in the mouth, pots go over the top – such is the matter of things. Their adventures and relationships are an opportunity to create poetic imagery, but also to contemplate on the current issues, such as climate change.
Our aim was to compose each page of the book in such a way that the text harmonises with the image narrative. We were inspired by picture books, where the story and the imagery make for a meticulously designed sequence. The illustrations were prepared with the purpose to enliven the literary still life and the choice of lettering was dictated by the desire to intrigue and help children immerse in the stories.
