Publication contains a selection of letters of Helena and Szymon Syrkus – most renowned Polish avant-garde architects to the world’s most renowned avant-garde architects associated with Bauhaus: Walter and Ise Gropius, Cornelis van Eesteren, Frida Fluck, and Sigfried Giedion. Written over a period of almost forty years, they create a full picture, showing not only poeople’s complex lives and choices but also the history of the community and the Bauhause movement.
