Centre for Culture in Lublin

Wayfinding System

The overhaul of the Centre for Culture in Lublin expanded the floor area of the building. The space, which had been familiarised over the previous years suddenly became more challenging, which created a justified concern about the level of its accessibility to its future users. Originally a convent the building was designed in opposition to objects open to the public or institutions of multidimensional character. Due to its sacred character it has been kept under strict conservation supervision, therefore city authorities oversaw this part of the project. The aforementioned circumstances influenced the formal side of the project. The system refers to the institution’s visual identity.
